How we handle personal information about visitors to this website and people who send us an enquiry through it.
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This website, yumeeservices.com, is run by High Mesa Ltd, trading as Yumee (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice.
This notice covers this website and the enquiries sent through it. It does not cover the information our customers keep in our products.
Cookies only if you say yes. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Until you answer, and if you choose Reject, nothing is loaded from Google and this website sets no cookies. We use no advertising or tracking tools, and our fonts and images come from our own site, not from other companies. You can change your answer at any time with Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page.
What your browser sends. When you open a page, your browser sends our hosting provider the technical details every website receives, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. They are used to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use them to identify you or to build a profile of you. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in running a working, secure website.
Kept in your own browser. The site keeps two small notes in your browser’s own storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:
If you choose Accept, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and guides people find useful.
_ga and _ga_ZWSZ2T09E4, which tell one visit from another. They expire after 13 months.Google provides Google Analytics to us as a service provider. Google’s privacy policy explains how Google handles information, and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
The forms on our contact and book a demo pages send us an enquiry.
What we collect
Why we use it. To answer you: to arrange a demo, prepare a quote or reply to your question, and to follow up on that conversation. We also look at which pages and links bring enquiries, so that we can improve the website. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before we enter into a contract with you, and our legitimate interests in answering enquiries, improving our website and protecting the form against abuse.
Protecting the form. To keep automated spam out:
Where it goes. Your enquiry travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our own database, hosted by our cloud hosting provider on servers in the European Union. A copy may also be emailed to our own inbox, info@yumeeservices.com, through our email delivery provider. The database cannot be read from this website or from any of our apps: only the Yumee staff who deal with enquiries can see it.
If the form cannot reach us, your email app opens instead, with a message to info@yumeeservices.com already filled in. Nothing is sent until you send it yourself, and we then handle it like any other email you send us.
How long we keep it. Up to 24 months after our last contact with you; then it is deleted. If you become a customer, we keep what our contract with you and the law require, for as long as they require it.
Do you have to give it? No. Without a name, a business name and an email address we cannot answer a form, but you can always call or email us instead.
The map on our contact page does not load until you click Show the map; until then, nothing is requested from Google. When you click it, the map is loaded from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies. Google’s privacy policy applies to that. The Open in Google Maps link opens Google Maps in a new tab, where the same applies.
Our pages link to our social media accounts and to other websites, including other Yumee websites. When you follow a link, that website’s own privacy notice applies.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
Your enquiry is stored in the European Union, which the UK recognises as giving personal information adequate protection. Google Analytics information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. If one of our providers processes information outside the UK and the European Economic Area, we make sure the transfer is protected by safeguards that UK law recognises, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to:
To use any of these rights, email info@yumeeservices.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. We reply within one month, and there is normally no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commission, the UK’s data protection regulator, through its office, the ICO: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
Apart from the spam checks described above, we make no automated decisions about you and we do not build profiles of you.
This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children.
We update this notice when the website, or the way we handle personal information, changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
